Orgatec 2024 in Cologne was marked by a celebratory atmosphere, boosted by unseasonably mild and sunny weather, as 50,000 trade visitors explored the vast Kölnmesse complex, celebrating its 100th anniversary. With 729 exhibitors from 40 countries spread across eight halls, the event saw bustling crowds midweek, though overall attendance appeared lower than in 2022. Organizers introduced themed areas to highlight topics like the circular economy, hybrid workspaces, and smart building solutions, but the segmented layout and lack of clear signage left many visitors confused, as larger companies’ products often spanned multiple themes, making the grouping ineffective.
