Landscape Forms Announces Lighting Agency Partnerships with Lighting Systems of Columbus and Hitech of Montreal and Quebec City

Landscape Forms, North America’s leading designer and manufacturer of high-design LED lighting, site furniture, structure, and accessories, announces two strategic lighting agency partnerships. Lighting Systems of Columbus (LSC), headquartered in Columbus, OH, will represent Landscape Forms lighting in the Central Ohio area. Hitech, with offices in Montreal and Quebec City, will represent Landscape Forms throughout the province of Quebec.

LSC is the oldest lighting agency in Columbus and will celebrate its 60th anniversary in 2022. Hitech has been in business since 1990, but more recently expanded not only its geographic reach, but also its focus on serving as a lighting consultant to all segments of the industry, from landscape architects and electrical engineers to lighting designers and architects.

“Landscape Forms’ offering was the missing piece in our portfolio,” says Hitech President and Co-owner Philippe Goyet. “We needed an architectural, mid- to high-end product line for our clients. They know Landscape Forms for its site furnishings, but now Hitech, a well-known brand in Quebec province, will be increasing exposure to Landscape Forms’ lighting offering.” LSC Partner and Co-owner Shannon Fry agrees: “Our team includes a former professional lighting designer with a strong background in landscape lighting and architecture, so we’ve been expanding our reach to a broader client base. Representing Landscape Forms gives us the opportunity to work on outdoor, mixed-use lighting projects and offer the high-design, architectural-grade products landscape architects, lighting designers, and electrical engineers are looking for.”

Both businesses have expertise in lighting controls and are seeing more clients looking for help in understanding and applying smart lighting systems. “Our industry has become so much more technical with the advent of LEDs and now lighting controls,” says Fry. “We’re excited to build this capability in-house.” Hitech, too, differentiates itself in its technical expertise. “We are involved in projects earlier in the design phase, as our clients are looking for help with a range of lighting-related skills, including controls, photometrics, and budgeting. We’re happy to be a one-stop shop for our clients,” says Goyet.

Landscape Forms Lighting President Jordan Agustin views the partnerships as a win-win for all parties. “Both LSC and Hitech have reputations as well-seasoned, knowledgeable lighting experts. Their attention to the needs of landscape, architectural, and lighting design professionals will bring Landscape Forms lighting to an important clientele in fast-growing regions of the US and Canada. These partnerships are a great fit, and we’re looking forward to growing these relationships.”
