IIDA Announces Keilhauer as the Sponsor of the IIDA Foundation’s Sustainable Design Education Fund

IIDA announced the Keilhauer Sustainable Design Education Fund to support ten IIDA members per year who successfully complete the LEED exam and seek to practice sustainable design strategies.

Interior designers that are LEED certified demonstrate to clients and employers that they are dedicated to incorporating environmental sustainability and the health and safety of occupants in their practice, a key tenet of IIDA’s mission.

Keilhauer’s annual sponsorship will award up to $350 for five IIDA Student, Associate, or Professional members who have passed the LEED Green Associate or LEED AP exam. This award is open twice annually, in the winter and summer.

Managed through the IIDA Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit philanthropic organization with a mission to drive innovation and advancements in the commercial interior design field, the Keilhauer Sustainable Design Education Fund, together with IIDA’s NCIDQ Reimbursement Fund and WELL Sustainable Design Fund, offer IIDA members the opportunity for tuition reimbursement for seeking continuing education and certification in the industry.
